Jojoba oil, extracted or produced from the plant Simmondsia chinensis, is an emollient which soothes external body parts, skin and unclogs hairs follicles. Unclogged hair follicles have also been associated with enabling the production and development of new hair in balding individuals.

Jojoba oil is recognized as an excellent humectant. This means that when robbed on the skin it attract environmental water or water in the rounding air and retains it, only losing water relatively very slowly compared with other moisturizers. This helps in making jojoba oil, or the liquid wax, an excellent moisturizer particularly in individuals with dry or extra dry and flaking skin types.

Jojoba oil may have an oil-like consistency, but it is often surprising that it is not technically an oil. On a molecular level, jojoba oil is made up of about 98% pure waxes classifying it as a wax ester (or “liquid wax”), rather than a standard oil or fat. It has the characteristic non-stick flowing consistency, which helps to convey the glassy smoothness and look of the skin.

All these specific features combine to make cold pressed jojoba oil an excellent and worthy addition to your makeup suit.

It is important to highlight that SainBiotics Golden Jojoba Oil is made from 100% natural organic cold pressed jojoba oil.

The related product from the SainBiotics stable of premium products, SainBiotics Fine Beard Oil, also contain the same quality of natural organic cold pressed jojoba oil.
